The dormitory was quiet, except for the creaks and groans of the old building. Sora led Aki to the third floor, where the student rooms were located. They stopped in front of room 304, which was rumored to be empty.
Sora approached the book, her eyes fixed on the pages. "This is the journal of a former student," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I think it's the key to understanding the haunting."
As they approached the dormitory, Sora suddenly stopped and sniffed the air. "Aki, do you smell that?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.
Aki gasped. The room was filled with strange, antique objects: old dolls, taxidermied animals, and dusty vases. In the center of the room, a large, leather-bound book lay open on a desk.
