Slide it out completely so you can access the drain area.

Look inside the filter housing. Use a toothpick or wire to dislodge any visible debris. Wipe away gunk with a paper towel. clean drain dishwasher

Sprinkle ½ cup baking soda into the drain hole, then pour 1 cup white vinegar. Let it fizz for 10–15 minutes to break down grease and soap scum.
