The problem? One question asks Mandy to rate her overall marital happiness on a scale of 1 to 10. Georgie spots a “7” penciled in, then erased, then rewritten. He never sees the final answer, and the ambiguity drives him wild. For Georgie, a 7 feels like a C-minus. In his mind, he’s a 10 husband: he works double shifts at Jim’s tire shop, comes home to play with baby CeCe, and has stopped hanging out with his old crowd.
