They didn’t call it evolution. Evolution was too slow, too bloody, too dependent on a mass grave of failed iterations. No, what happened in the labs of Neosys was a patch . That was the horror of the Neomods

She was not a mutant. Mutants are accidents. Neomods are upgrades . You cannot patch a soul

A Purist would have screamed. An Aesthetic would have cried. Kael simply stepped off the edge because the math did not include fear of death .
