She groaned, downloaded the from the official site, installed it, and reopened the 32-bit ODBC Administrator (yes, there were two separate ones—a hidden trap for the unwary). This time, the test connection turned green.
Then she noticed something odd. The Power BI dashboard was a 32-bit application. But her Windows was 64-bit, and the driver she’d installed… was also 64-bit.
