Watching The Last of Us via a DVDRip changes the physics of the narrative. In the official 4K version, the Clickers are horrifyingly detailed. You see every fungal ridge, every wet tendon. In the DVDRip? The horror is abstract. Joel’s face in shadow becomes a cubist painting. The giraffes in the Salt Lake City tunnel blur into impressionist ghosts. It counts more
