The HD version is great (Swift Sail, Gamepad inventory), but it changes the lighting. Many purists (myself included) prefer the "bloom" of the original GameCube version. Plus, the Wii U emulator (Cemu) requires a much beefier PC than Dolphin does. For low-end laptops or the Steam Deck, the is the superior experience.
