Sheldon decides to skip a grade—not for math or science, but to get away from a bully. Meanwhile, Georgie tries to impress Veronica with a fake ID, and Missy continues to feel invisible.
Popcorn and zero expectation of 1080p sharpness.
This episode isn’t top-tier Young Sheldon , but it’s solid. The A-plot (Sheldon vs. the school bully) feels a bit recycled, but it pays off with a genuinely funny scene where Sheldon applies “game theory” to lunchroom seating. The B-plot with Georgie is the real highlight—his awkward attempt to buy beer using a comically bad fake ID (“I’m 22… from Canada”) gets the biggest laugh.
Not really. No action sequences, no visual effects—just people talking in rooms. The only minor downside: the darker scenes in the bar where Georgie gets caught look a little muddy, and you might miss Veronica’s amused smirk. But dialogue carries everything.
